Aisha Jamila is an American actress who is best known for her roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that 9-1-1 will continue for an additional season. Hind has completed the production of the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is set to release by mid-2019.
